Verse’s transfer

While he is currently in Arizona, Marcus Verse plans to enroll at Florida State in the near future. The transfer follows the arrival of eight other transfers during the offseason, including a standout pass rusher from the FCS. The newcomer should help the Seminoles’ running game. He will have three years of eligibility left. Verse’s arrival will make the team’s running backs more explosive.

Weisman’s development as a passer

In his first season, Weisman’s primary role was to run the offense. His athleticism and quickness allowed him to make big throws, especially when there were tight windows. He threw for 2,035 yards and 17 touchdowns in 10 games. Additionally, he rushed for 300 yards and eight touchdowns. His playmaking ability has many people wondering whether he’ll develop as a passer, but the numbers prove otherwise.

Browne’s promise letter

Lord Browne, the chairman of BP, made a famous promise to resign from his position if he lost the election. The promise was not fulfilled, and it has been the subject of several lawsuits. The lawsuits reportedly referred to Browne’s sexuality, and he was accused of sex harassment. The lawsuits were dismissed after Lord Browne appealed the decision to the House of Lords. Lord Browne subsequently resigned from his post as BP and he was named the non-executive director of Goldman Sachs.

Dameyune Craig’s return to the sidelines

In the months leading up to the team’s Sept. 2 game against Alabama, Dameyune Craig will be back on the FSU sidelines. Craig, a former Auburn quarterback, has served as Jimbo Fisher’s quarterbacks coach from 2010 to 2012. He will return as the quality control coach. After three seasons as the offensive coordinator at South Alabama, Craig coached the Seminoles’ quarterbacks.

Jordan Pride’s commitment to Florida State

Jordan Pride has committed to Florida State. The 6-foot-2 wing has visited the Seminoles several times during his recruiting process. The Florida State coaching staff evaluated his baseball skills as well. While he was offered by Georgia Tech, he ultimately chose Florida State. After working out at Mike Norvell Football Camps on June 5 and 13, he returned on June 19 for an unofficial visit. A week later, he officially committed to the Seminoles.
